This is a certified course, it includes modality training, manuals, hands-on practice and the initiation. This is the first step and allows the student to experience the healing through themselves. The focus of this level is very much about self-care. Reiki 1 will accelerate the students personal development and spiritual evolution and create the confidence and competence within, giving the most positive effect
Through an ‘attunement’ process specific to Tera Mai, a healing channel is opened within the student. Initiation involves the transfer of energy from source to initiate, in order to awaken energy within you increasing your vibration. Over 2 days, each student will learn how to ground, protect and open this channel of energy for her/himself. There is an introduction to chakras (energy vortexes within each person) and their function. He/she will learn how to give a self-healing, a healing to another (chair position). Sending distance healing to another (with permission) and earth healing are also covered.
